  Nel 1978 nasce Suma Ceramiche, una piccola bottega di artigianato nella Città Bianca di Ostuni, frutto del lavoro della famiglia Suma e Marseglia . Situata a Largo Lanza 31, l’artigianato di Maria Suma è ormai conosciuto ovunque per la sua originalità e unicità dei pezzi. Uno dei più conosciuti artefatti è il “Fischietto di Terracotta”: la storia narra che i fischietti sono arte celebrativa e propiziatoria del luogo e che servivano per allontanare il malocchio e le streghe. Nella bottega possiamo anche trovare ceramiche di terracotta tradizionali e cartapesta , presepi da collezione in terracotta e cartapesta e  altro. Il negozio è aperto tutto l’anno e offre servizio di spedizione nazionale e mondiale con assicurazione in caso di danni.

Suma Ceramiche, a small handicraft shop in the White City of Ostuni, was founded in 1978 by the Suma and Marseglia families. Located at Largo Lanza 31, Maria Suma's craftsmanship is now known everywhere for its originality and uniqueness of pieces. One of the best-known artefacts is the 'Fischietto di Terracotta' (Terracotta Whistle): history tells us that whistles are a celebratory and propitiatory art of the area and that they were used to ward off the evil eye and witches. In the shop we can also find traditional terracotta and papier-mâché ceramics, collectible cribs in terracotta and papier-mâché and more. The shop is open all year round and offers national and worldwide shipping service with insurance in case of damage.
